I don't understand the question. She was a guest at the hotel and her kids were swimming in the pool while she was nearby and the employee demanded to know her name and room number but did not ask the white people at the pool. Then called the cops and the cops demanded information and ran her plates. Only to find out she was a guest at the hotel.
I guess I don't understand how she was "fired" if she never had a job there to begin with. Unless she had a few days off and was staying as a guest that day.
