White House Threatens 'EXECUTIVE ORDERS' ON GUNS

Earlier today, Vice President Joe Biden addressed the ongoing discussion and debate surrounding gun control. Rather than relying strictly upon the legislative process, he said that Obama “is going to act” — and potentially without Congress’ blessing.

Before meeting with gun safety and victims’ groups, the vice president told reporters that “executive orders” may be an avenue that the administration will use to take swift action on firearms.

“There are executives orders, there’s executive action that can be taken,” he said. “We haven’t decided what that is yet. But we’re compiling it all with the help of the attorney general and the rest of the cabinet members as well as legislative action that we believe is required.”

As the Weekly Standard notes, Biden stressed the importance, in his view, of taking action to curb gun violence. He also said that he is convinced that the government “can affect the well-being of millions of Americans and take thousands of people out of harm’s way” — pending officials “act responsibly.”

Even if Obama attempts to take unilateral action, Biden indicated that legislation is still “required.”

I feel sorry for the poor schmucks in the secret service.

In the coming years they and all govt law enforcement need to think long and hard where their loyalty lies the Constitution and freedom or totalitarianism.

I've never been in trouble beyond a speeding ticket but these guys are going to turn me into some kind of criminal. Something wrong with that.

I've been in lot's of trouble and these guys are about to turn me BACK into a criminal. The cops had it in for me as a younger man.:eek:
It never ceases to amaze me how oppressive this government can get and people just waddle on up and say, okay, stick it to me.

Exactly and every-man has a threshold of what he's willing to let them get away with. Once the state goes breaches that threshold, subverting the will of the state is a moral and just activity up to and including liquidating state agents.

well put. This country is deteriorating rapidly. I guess its been in motion for some time but under commie obama the decline is accelerating. without a significant majority of the pop waking the fuck up.. it's probably over. Even some in the military, which I've always respected, seem on board with trampling our rights.
