Again, watch the video. They do this because the government is their largest customer.
 
that is a great segment... if only the media actually chose to really be journalists again. It would make watching the news useful and even entertaining. Muckraking is fun. good questions are fun. figuring out what he should ask next and seeing it happen is good.

I think I have figured out why the media is starting to do some journalism.

They are losing their sources. Soon they will have no stories other than the ones the adminstration gives them.

They may also be fearing pre fascists administrations will turn on them.

Gingrich was on CNN debating Van Jones .
Gingrich mentioned this CNN interview and suggested what the WH is doing here may be illegal.

I would also note Anderson Cooper held Van Jones to the fire on the presidents lies. Didn't just let him get away with his spin.

It really is a change... instead of me thinking... why are you not asking him this... nice framing of the issue... well done.
