There's still no conviction. More of the same, up, down, up, down
I feel you will find the conviction gelling on Wed Feb 16th, when the meeting minutes are released. Lord knows how that fucked up the markets last time that happened, on Jan 5th.
And then at the March meeting? Woohoo! Should be an exciting time!
You are likely not alone in your frustration. With sentiment like that it is likely getting ready to explode.

In 2013, I (stupidly) bet my pension on gold and mostly silver investments.
(I made the fatal mistake of listening to gold bugs predicting a resumption of the PM bull market because of ZIRP/QE.)Having already endured one multi-year bear market, I'm not sure I could take another one.
Think about having, and more importantly using, stops.No but it's something to cling to when investments go bad.
