Which users' posts have benefited you the most?

Posts count and/or Likes and/or so-called important ET users...are kind of irrelevant and shouldn't be looked necessarily automatically highly upon.

I agree.

And that observation perhaps illustrates the potential benefit of asking fellow-members (as the OP has done) whose posts were/are actually beneficial to them, as a better alternative to needing to try to rely only on those artificlal, popularity-based things?

Contrary to popular belief about the guy, DBPhoenix was actually pretty helpful to me. @Scataphagos and I also have spoken privately and the way he broke trading down to plain common sense was really helpful as well. In fact, what I got from speaking with him is that I was making things much harder than it had to be.

What is this - playground politics? Talk about a lack of etiquette. Not lowering myself to play this borderline like game of strangers casting their opinion on who's opinions they like the most.

No one has mentioned the name above all names, who was open about his real identity, and who kept a journal for over a decade, posting bold market calls and incisive industry commentary, and further entertaining the crowd with his luxurious South Florida lifestyle. Sadly, he was driven off the site by incessant trolling.
