Which securities exam to take?

I am currently a broker for a firm, but I don't broker stocks but cashless transactions. I hope in a year or so to make the jump to stock brokering. I have been thinking how can I prepare now for it and make myself more attractive to prospective employers. I can't take the series 7 due to lack of sponsorship but what about series 63,65,66? I am not sure whether these require sponsorship or prerequisites? I also have an interest in futures and options and have thought about taking the series 3 and pursue a CTA. My longterm ambition is to manage money. I appreciate any feedback.

For CTA you don`t need sponsorship. Depends on type of your business entity, you may be CTA or your Corp or LLC, LLP can sponsor you.
 
I'm not sure whether Series 65 (Investment Adviser) Exam will make you more attractive if you're going to be working for a broker.

Series 65 might help if you're looking to work for a Registered Investment Adviser firm. Basically, a Registered Investment Adviser firm is selling its services, rather than brokering stocks and products. The Registered Investment Adviser firm typically manages investment portfolios for clients and charges annual fees based on a % of assets under management (e.g. 1%).

You don't need a sponsor to take this exam.
 
What about the other 2 exams? So I know the series 65 isn't for me but what about the other 2? Also what does it take to become a CTA, besides taking series 3 what do I do?
 
What about series 63 and 66? So I know that the 65 isn't for me but what about the other 2? Can they be taken without sponsorship and a 7? Are they up a potential brokers alley?
 
The series 63 is blue sky registration for brokers who want to sell securities in certain states. there is no pre-rec for that exam. the series 66 is the series 63 and 65 combined(investment Advisor exam). I had to have my series 7 before I could take 66
