Which Prop Firms provide the best mentorships and training?

Ive got a table for 8 tonight... any plans? bring Don. tell hans the host you are sitting with paraclese. there will be some other educator/managers sitting with us and we will be discussing who exactly would like to leave their screens to teach new comers in the business for free. we are meeting at 1 am...

5 mil..... usually, there are no sure things in life. If someone says that they have a 5 mil system and ask for 500k, well, it's probably a sham.
Teaching newbies is a lot of trouble and not worth the money.
Most of them are ungrateful, are immature, don't care about anything but money, have bad attitudes, have bad manners, lack etiquette, lack basic morals, have bad hygiene, act like idiots, and so on. It's no wonder these people are the 99%.
When prop firms hire, there should be a personality test to weed out the aholes. I rather hire/work with a B student who is a decent human being than an A student who is an ahole.
Good response. A lot of people are naive when they want to become traders, and as a result they get taken. The problem with getting a mentor or trader who's successful in trading is that they are next to impossible to find, unless you go the traditional route into a real prop firm. As SteveNYC said, it's take a lot of time training a newbie and what does the person get in return. A lot of headaches, loss of concentration on your own work and also having your system be copied. That why most prop firms are bogus. That's also why I don't take ninjatrader, esignal et al as seriously because they have tons of partnerships with charlatans.
It's funny how so many new traders come into the industry and want everything handed to them on a platter. They want low cost or free training without the mentor/service provider getting anything in return. If the educational provider is getting some sort of profits from providing the training then it is often deemed a scam. And of course the training must provide a verifiable edge! If there actually was a company that provided training with a proven edge then essentially everyone could quit their day jobs to enter the industry, and ET would be relegated to only P/L threads with people bragging about how much money they made. From my experience, you can't make it in this industry without putting in the work. It's a disservice to all of the other traders out there who spent years soaking up information, learning from their mistakes, and honing their skills, to expect a prop firm or training company to give you the keys to the Cadillac. Training should be basic and let the individual tailor a strategy that fits their individual style and personality. If you are given a proven edge without fully comprehending the process that went into developing it, what happens when that edge stops working? Do you ask for a refund? There is a lot of money in this industry so there will always be scams, alert services, and $5k stock trading seminars. You just have to be informed about what exactly you are getting yourself into and don't expect to be handed the "Holy Grail," even if it is pitched in the exact wording.
The problem is here people do not want to put in the work required to become successful. They think by watching a few fight tapes, reading machados encyclopedia of BJJ, and a cycle of juice will allow them a shot at the octogon. These are real professionals, they bust their ass everyday just so they can bust yours.
