No, I know it was...what I was saying is that you should email them as a potential client, tell them that you'll trade less than 250K shares, ask if there are additional monthly fees, and get an email response that there is a 500/month fee. Then post it here. A total of 1 email and 1 post here and it should be clear.Quote from bigpapi:

With all due respect I have better things to do, they didn't steal from me, they didn't do anything unethical, no need to open up an investigation.
I did need to mention this however because it was the most ridiculous thing I've heard from a prop firm. If there are others with the same concern subscribed to ET I'm sure they will post it, if not then be it.
Maybe I got an idiot on the phone, (lots of those in this business) or maybe it was TheBishop (same thing) on the phone, who knows. I really dont care, lots of choices out there for prop firms. Too much time spent on this already. I posted what they said to me and case is closed on my end.

trader a monthly fee on top of commissions. If you can tell me more
about your trading, I can get you out a proposal. How long have you been
trading? How many shares do you trade per month? What's your average
ticket size? Where are you currently trading? What type of buying power

Maverick Trading doesn't require licenses, but they focus on options spread trades rather than day trading equities. They do have futures and Forex available though. When I was researching prop firms, I liked Echo, JC Trading, CY and Maverick the best.
