Which NYSE stocks to trade?

I find myself getting too attached to the small/midcap listed stocks. Doing this causes me to miss great moves in the big caps. Often times I find myself getting stuck in these smaller stocks and the liquidity just dries up. With no liquidity the stock can't go up and it's hard to find a bid to exit your position. I am going to start focusing more on the big caps....
