Which laptops for trading?

The cool thing with ubuntu is that you can have multiple "desktops" or virtual screens that you can switch to with the click of a button.

Apples have a similar feature.

Thanks for all the replies, think I might go with a Dell, like the warranty, forget if it's 1 or 3 years, like mentioned before not a techy so want to keep it simple, My father-in-law has a Toshiba Quosi something, nice but don't think I need that much computer to trade. Still have to reseach the Dell's, been swamped lately
Thanks

If you have a Micro Center store near you (or online) that is a good place to look and compare features. They have great prices and staff that actually know something.

Same here.... love ubuntu on my lenovo. need VMWare on it, cos lots of trading programs are windows only. That is the only downside

GShot :
I have 3 HP/Compaq laptops . duo , pentium duo , and an older
AMD chip .They all work fine for trading , reliable . and cost less than 1 k each. I upgraded 2 of them to 2 Mg Ram , as it costs 20 -30 bucks each or so.
