Which is the best software for automated trading with IB

i am focused right now on multicharts with ib gateway for auto trading setup. i have yet to be successful but it took alot of time getting everything setup where i can flip the switch.

the regular ib trader workstation kept logging me out all the time and then it was a nightmare to reestablish where the positions were and all that pitfall.
