What you mentioned was an excellent idea, I was looking at that a few months ago as well,

I actually had an appointment with a few route brokers a few months back.

The good thing is hte stability of the product, thats like the most impressive asset of routes.

Hydroblunt, the bad thing about this is many routes require the owner to be carting the products, so you become a highly paid delivery guy :)

anything with a 5-20% return per MONTH , I would not trust unless I'm down in the trenches and its a business where I see the ROI coming in.

but if its soley just place your money there and returning a 5-20% per MONTH, The first thing that pops up in my mind is...
SCAM.
 
Do people realize how dumb they are when they post things like 20% a MONTH? thats means you will have like 6 times your starting capital by year end. With a 10 million dollar investment you would be the richest man in the world in just a few years. AND THEN they try to ask if the investment is guaranteed. Yes there is a guaranteed 20% return on an investment, send me the check.

Snapple routes are great, tropicana. Alot of them allow absentee ownership of the route and it is a protected territory.

you say 300k business for sale making 200k a year the guy is crazy for selling, how many people you know have 300k upfront or the ability to sign for it via a bank? I dont know many, if any at all. Maybe we associate with different sorts of people or I know low class people!

Anyways, those 2 sites will give you all the info you need and then some. The best part is you can see their pay via tax docs, w-2's, etc etc. PLus, the parent company, tropicana, snapple should have all that jazz. The snapple one I think he delivered 100k cases a year, profit was 2 dollars and change per case, 2.50 or 2.60? Anyhow, thats some serious coin. Imagine that times 5 snapple businesses. IN NYC and Jersey, you can get 5 easyyyyy...
