Which index to buy and hold? S&P 500 or Dow Jones?

in all due respect Sir...they are both exactly the same(bascially)...buy one(or sell one) or the other...run a comparision chart of either the Dow vs SP500, SPY vs Dia or ES vs YM...might be a slight % over the long term but really no difference...bottomline...they will both go down together or up together with a slight "unnoticeable to profit" variance

They move similarly, but not identical.

During some rallies, the Dow outpaces the S&P.
So which one offers more potential now?
(It takes the same to hold an S&P or Dow ETF).
