You seem obsessed with some imaginary victory.

Oh well.

Look at the poll results, and feel like a winner if you really are that much of a loozer....

ROTFLMAO...

So you are on the loozing side of the poll, yet you feel like a winner.

Classic...

ZZzzz your head is too small to understand the repercussions of this phenomena.

There is a possibility than in 100 years 4 legged creatures that look like chickens be the norm.

Which would be good, since I like drumsticks preferably.

Erm, are the extra legs functional? Do they move etc.? Does the chicken have any control over them?

Extensive research indicates that they don't seem to be or have at this time.

But you never know, probably in another 1000 years ? maybe?

Does it matter?

It points to the fact how there will be naturally occuring mutations, and if these mutations give the animal - in this case a chicken - a survival advantage, then its' genetics will begin to make its' way into the gene pool.

Ponder this - how much more profitable will a 4 legged chicken be to chicken farmers, if chicken legs were the 'fad' of the time? And ponder this - domestic turkeys have been so selected to have big breast meat that they can no longer fly, due to the preference of white meat in buyers of turkeys.

Can these be considered a survival advantage?

if the egg came first or the chicken came first how did the first chicken and or the egg chicken reproduce for a few million years of evolution until all rerooduction systems were in place for chickens to make more chickens? by accident......NOT

Well, if they don't work then they might not be juicy enough to eat and thus will most likely not get corporate sponsorship from KFC...

...but thanks for bringing the thread back on topic with the fascinating lessons on evolution and economics.
