Where would be good to visit in Canada over the next two weeks?

I'm back from Europe to Colombia. It's too warm. I enjoyed the cool this time of year in Barcelona, I got a lot if walking and exploring the city done.

I have two weeks to kill and I don't want to talk about politics with Americans, I have not seen much of Canada though.

Where would be good to get a lot of walking in exploring a city or cities? I just want to walk, all day, listen to audio books and clear my head.

I see Vancouver is already near freezing, don't mind layering up but would prefer no ice on the ground. I tend to crush most boot grip attachments but maybe these https://icetrax.ca

Montreal is on my bucket list.

About Montreal
Montreal, c’est si bon! This French-speaking city is considered the cultural capital of Canada, and is a cosmopolitan celebration of Québécois style. A stroll around the cobblestone streets and grand buildings of Vieux-Montréal will give you a taste of European flavor. The Basilique Notre-Dame is a confection of stained glass, and the Plateau Mont-Royal district will delight with its quaint boutiques and cafés. Dig in to a massive plate of poutine to fuel up for a tour of the epic Olympic Park.

I do fancy some poutine..

A friend invited me to walk 200 miles along the coast of Oregon but I know he will start talking politics or trading or worse, acting/producing :)

Can I untangle my French from my Spanish now? Maybe.

Been there twice unfortunately. Kissed a girl in middle of the connector of the Wrigley building. It was a while back.

I don't want to talk to Amercians however.

I proposed to my wife across the street from there (on the bridge).
