Gold has been hot but it does not have to be going forward. I have no clue what it will do. Gold bugs love it, but it is actually not a great investment historically speaking (8%/year(?)).

Interestingly, Gold bugs are quite pessimistic right now according to Mark Hulbert.

Could it probably be caused by something like: those who bought have checked their accounts over the last three months, and could see the losses?
