Where to start trading in S.FL?

Hi,
I'm an MBA graduate specialized in mgt and unfortunately not finance, but who's always been interested in trading and would like to become a professional equities trader. I live in Miami, FL and would like to know if anybody had some advice where to start and what I need to know to help me on my path? Anywhere in Dade, Broward or Palm Beach county.

Drock - I'm a 1st year MBA at U of Michigan - are there any internship opportunities at your firm?
 
Ryan, I believe drock doesnt run that office anymore. Go to assent.com and look up the miami office for contact info to the current mgr.

PS: There's nothing to intern over there, if you bring money, they'll let you trade.

Dan, how did the search work out for you? Did you end up at a firm with the same structure as Assent?

Any advice for a fellow MBA?
