Where to find sector & industry data

Greetings! Can someone tell me a good website(s) for industry and sector performance data (Historical) and associated news? I have seen what's on biz.yahooo, and the price performance data only seems to go back 5 days. I'm looking for something that can tell me what kind of trend a sector/industry is in, and what big news items might be out there that could affect the trend. Ideally, I'd like to be able to pull sectors and industries up on a chart and add studies (RSI, MACD, etc.)

you should take a look at AIQ's trading software..you can create your own market/sector group structure and do any type of testing on it,or just view indicators..Its a great product
