No difference between $10 and $100 wine,
No difference between $20 and $200 brandy.

But when it comes to food, I can tell difference between
juicy beef vs leathery tough beef,
fresh seafood vs stinky seafood.

Brandy i can tell up to a certain point. Expensive brandy aka cognac is much smoother than the cheap stuff. I never tried the stuff over $200 a bottle. This one is more but on sale.
