Where is futurecurrents?

You know, if we moved these Climate Change threads to a science section, it wouldn't seem like it was based on opinion and subjective.

By definition, once you put them in P&R, they become open for debate.

that is because there is no... I mean zero... evidence in peer reviewed papers showing man made co2 causes warming in our complex environment. (at least as of six months ago). its all conjecture and politics. Science certainly can't tell us man made co2 is causing significant warming.

Any "science" was based on models... and those mailed have failed on real time data.

I know you are a man of science Nitro... so I challenge you to find the science showing man made co2 is causing warming here on earth.

Co2 may... reflect some heat back to earth... but it may also reflect some heat causing energy back into space...
If it does increase clouds... we don't know if they will be higher (warming) or low (cooling) clouds.

And at this stage we do not know what adding more will do... because as the co2 gets added... its impact becomes logarithmically less powerful.

Finally, if you apply today's most robust statistical measures we don't even know we are warming outside natural variations.

If you wish.. I can document everything I have stated above... and I can show you papers which show... co2 accumulation trails warming and cooling. And warming and cooling is influenced by the sun, the tides and the clouds.

Complete and total nonsense. You simply don't know what you are babbling about.

I am not bumping this to be argumentative or show I am correct.

I am really interested to see if anyone with a science and/or computer background is able to find peer reviewed papers which show man made co2 is causing warming on earth... without using now failed computer models.

The best one I found, I posted here.... about 3 years ago.
The premise of the paper was that although co2 trails warming it the ice core records... the author speculated that once the co2 was released it worked as a feedback mechanism in other areas of the globe.

My take is that, such a scenario is possible but there could be other factors that overwhelm its contributions... in short we really don't know... much other than that it trails warming going up and cooling going down... and it sure seems like the sun and the tides are a much stronger influence.

They are not able to do it because global warming is a hoax meant to provide the dems with a justification for their cap and tax scheme.

New temperature records highlight global warming's continued rise

Estimated $6.2 billion climate change hit to Australian economy in 2013/14

More accidents

The average across all questioned employees came to US$655 for the year. Then they scaled this total across the entire workforce to arrive at an annual national cost of $6.2bn.

Unusually hot weather might be welcome during beach holidays but – the risks of potentially lethal heat stroke and heat exhaustion aside – it is also linked to higher work accident rates because of lapses of concentration, higher levels of fatigue and poor decision-making, and higher stress hormone levels.

The employees who went to work in the heat did their best – three quarters of them said they put in longer hours to make up for the lost output – but they also calculated that they achieved 35% less under such conditions.

Australia’s $6.2bn loss represents less than half of one percent of Australia’s gross domestic product (GDP) and if the heat extremes of 2013 were a once-in-a-century event, this figure would be insignificant — but all the climate forecasts promise more such heat waves to come for the world’s largest island.

Do you admit the earth is warming in the last 150 years or so?
