Where does WWIII start? Over the Arctic

If Israel/US/NATO attack Iran even by a squadron of planes or cruise missiles, the next thing Iran will do is unload 'anything and everything' on Israel and US interests in the region. This will turn into a major war.....ofcourse starting from a precision type attack.



Regarding India-Pak..............China will get involved for sure on the Pak side.

US might provide India with some intelligence or air assets but nothing out in open.

Russia will remain on the side with a vodka bottle in one hand and thumbs up the rear from the other hand. (Especially if Medvedev is still in power).

Instead, Israel might be of more help to India but then again on a covert basis because out in open will invite other nations into the equation.

Any war consisting of Israel/US/NATO vs. Iran would be over very, very quickly.

Wars are usually fought because some maniac has grandiose delusions and wants to expand his country's size and assets/resources.... wants to take something from somebody.

Hitler tried to take Europe. Japan tried to take China and the Pacific Rim. North Korea tried to take South. Saddam tried to take Kuwait. None prevailed. Was America taking of California from Mexico that last successful "conquering"? (Hope my recollection of history is not too far off...) Regardless of what anyone thinks of that, it was necessary. America couldn't depend upon Mexico to defend the West Coast.

Where in the world these days will an aggressor be allowed to conquer another country? China going to declare war on America if they get pissed at our stiffing them on our debt? Or imposing trade sanctions? Doubt it. Can't see ANY wars breaking out unless it's the same old thing... "America to somebody's rescue".


(America isn't fighting any wars now.. just wasteful police actions.)

The real threat is Pakistan. Pakistan keeps sponsoring terrorist attacks against India and eventually India might respond with some kind of conventional military attack. It could very easily become a nuclear exchange. It might not even be clear who started it. If China or Russia or the United States thought its interests were threatened by that exchange a larger conflict could erupt.

Agree with your Pakistan theory. I would add: If the nukes in Pakistan fell into the radical's hands, a first strike by India could not be ruled out. In either case, escalation beyond the two countries would be inevitable, especially if nukes were used.

It belongs to Canada. The 'great white north' is North American. Could WWIII start over it? I don't know... I don't want to die for it - But I have no problem killing for it.
