I'm a systems engineer and software developer by trade. I've been trading for several years and I have coded a successful automated strategy.
As much as I enjoy my work as an engineer, I've considered the possibility of trading for a living. I'm in a situation where I can take 1 of 3 paths:
1) continue trading stocks with my strategy until I build enough capital to open a futures account.
2) Give my system to someone in exchange for help funding an account. I was going to take this road at one point until some unforeseen events took place.
3) Find a trading firm to work for. I live in Atlanta and don't know the first thing about finding this type of work.
Any thoughts?
