Where does modern Physics take us?

Modern physics is like religion. Just a bunch of beliefs that nobody can really prove is real.

I largely agree with that. Until modern physics creates real-world applications, much of it smells like pure conjecture....

I'm a 'believe-it-when-i-see-it' guy when it comes to this. Maybe I'm just too dense.

A never ending quest with many false starts. IMHO None the less a worthy endeavor if capable. A far cry from the original hunter gatherer.
