Where does everyone live/trade and how old.

Nothing personal, but it sounds like you need to be on a couch of a professional and not in this thread!

From the conditions that you described, I don't see how the thought of "day trading" even can come up. Position trading, maybe, but any type of short-term trading is a sure way to financial suicide. Only the most hopeless gambler would contemplate to trade short-term under the conditions you described.
LOL that is funny now!

54 years old, live in St. Louis, have traded the SP 500 for eighteen years.

All that experience and only four posts. What a shame, what a shame. :(

Did you ever see a tiger? Did you ever kill one? Ever been on a snipe hunt? They sound very similar. How many tigers live in the western hemisphere? Were you in a zoo?
Snipes are very hard to find. Know what I me mean man? The tigers really are jaguars but down there the locals call them tigers. I used to hunt with an old black man that was a bit famous for hunting in that area of Belize. I was just a teenager so life was exciting to me. I remember the time he went out into the jungles and the dogs treed a jaguar. He had an old shotgun (that is what he would shoot them with..slug) and it wouldn't fire. So, he stuck a pole in the ground under the tree and put his hat on it. Then promptly marched out of the jungle and came to my house. We got my gun and went back, Would you believe that jaguar was still up in the tree? The ole cat saw the hat and thought he was still there. He borrowed my gun and shot it. He would sell the meat to the caribs and the skin he cured and sold.

You didn't kill jaguars too often but once and a while you did.

nah. his description was dead on. i was wrtiting a reply post to that effect last night and then changed my mind.

when you live in third world countries...you have to get it off your chest sometimes. I could rant for a while myself!

i got stuck in a 12 foot aluminum jon boat about 5 miles off shore in the pacific with no floatation devices when the motor went dead....why did the motor go dead? becuase the idiot owner didnt fix it from the last time the motor stranded him......the week before! and he left the back up engine on shore because "he didnt feel like taking it"....this is when he knew the current motor needed repairs.

I was also robbed by a cop in Mexico City (my least favorite city on the planet), and i drive a 1981 diesel jeep on an abandoned dirt road to work in order to avoid the manic traffic...and my country is among the most adavnced in latin america. the phone, water, internet, insurance etc....are all governmnet owned monopolies...if one goes down....there is NO alternative. it is illegal to have an alternative.

lets just say that living down here is a daily adventure.

but it is like anything else....if it were easy anybody could do it.

the adventure and challenge makes for a fruitful life.
Here is a person that experiences the daily frustrations but also adventures of LA life. Thanks for your comments!

...Speaking of jungles I did live in the jungles of Panama back in the 60's. I have hiked 12 days (walk..horse..canoe) in the jungles of Honduras all the way to the north coast. I have been on tiger hunts (not allowed now I think..I did this years ago when they allowed it.) in Belize and made jungle hunting camp there.
I was under the impression that, apart from zoos and other forms of captivity, tigers only live in Asia. Am I mistaken?
