I thought i'd start a thread about the economic cycle, and get opinions and insights from others who also trade in longer time frames. As you know when trading long term, sectors and industries become very important... and thus the economic cycle comes into play. All welcome to come and give their 2 cents.

The ETFS will show you the way. Look at YTD performance and you will see which sectors are strong and weak.
To drill down, go to "holdings" for that ETF and look at the specific stocks.

thanks hangingman...... i'm still positioned correctly it seams. (into consumer staples with a pinch of energy and a little dash of healthcare) .... however, am ready to bail and jump on high tech
Cramer came out and said to sell tech...... maybe my assertion was correct?.... that it will take another 4- 6 months??
