Where can I find S&P or Stock Market annual returns? (year by year)

I need to find the annual performance for each year from 1990 to 2005. For either the Stock market in general, or the S&P 500.

you can also just go to www.iasg.com and click on the S&P 500 or Dow. It has monthly returns for the past 25 years I believe.

Sounds like all answers posted will work;
also like SPY yearly chart, dont have to do much chart reading, just ''open price to close price''
