almost as bad = cash oil co ETFs like semi liquid FXN, but it pays a small dividend.
Still almost as bad with money market paying about 2x that dividend LOL;
even worse[my opinion] is woke broke energy ETF =TAN, money loser with not a fun as the those mentioned here or there .

When are situations or market conditions where a stop loss might not effectively protect a position?

not vey liquid+ high comissions /attorney fees , paper work fees /max LOL that'$ why we seldom used a stop loss like that in RE.
Saw a RE ad in TX said the '' 2 oil wells stay'' {Lol\ i thought not if you want to sell it\ one oil well stays}
I went back + did some math on a RE nice lot i cut a loss on , [no oil wellsLOL]; actually better off cutting loss in RE\ it did not sell in 3 month$ ,most better RE sold then 3-6 months................................................................................ God Blessed TX\
