It's a fact that in today's world showing an ID to vote is or should be no problem for most all people and it's also a fact that the only reason the reps want voter ID is in the hope it will disenfranchise enough democratic voters to swing an election or two.

Actually voter ID is to stop the rampant voter fraud. The same reason voter ID is used all over much the rest of the world.
