It is a little vague to me.
What spotlite? ET? Movies? Home? NJ? Washington?

Is this kind of like one's 15 minutes of fame that Andy Warhol talked about? What to do when it is over?

I do not think there is anything you can do. It is over when it is over. Trying to recapture faded glory is sad.
