Spread typically takes a significant time exposure to a symptomatic person. (ask ER docs)

Well travel is a personal decision but just because you are vaccinated does not mean you cannot catch it or spreasd it (like the flu shot). The problem is if vaccinated people think themselves superman and travel with no precautions or common sense, which in America is how people often travel....
If you get a shot and want to go visit family then it makes sense. You have greatly reduced your risk and if you don't live near your family you might not have seen them in a year.
I hear some people saying once they get their shot they are going to Europe or overseas (vacation).... well not sure that is the best use of your travel freedom after a shot haha.
It would be wise to caution going back to normal activities just because you are vaccinated when the majority of people really are not. Again it is a personal decision and some medical experts would say keep practicing CDC guidelines until more people get the shot because most people getting the shot are those who are staying in and not going out to much anyway. real control comes in when the rest of us start getting it in large numbers.
We could be in a much better situation by end of April when weather allows us to be more outdoors and another 30 to 40 million people get the shot about.
People are going to people. When they get vaccinated, they should just keep doing what they have been doing. One of those things has been travelling. The other things should have been...
1. Wear a mask.
2. Use hand sanitizer when getting back into their vehicle (if applicable).
3. Wash their hands with warm soapy water when they get home.
3a. Don't touch their eyeballs when in public.

I think waiting for more complete data to change the status quo is logical. However, it's up to Biden to weigh the economic vs. the medical risk, not Fauci.
