This is WRONG. They expired 4:13PM 2/12 (TODAY).

On the bright side you will have enough oil to heat your house for a few winters...
 
close on 3rd Wednesday every contract month. Better leaving 3 days before expiring day, and Monday is holiday, you can still trade in Sunday night and Tuesday.

If the 25th calendar day of the month is a non-business day, trading shall cease on the third business day prior to the business day preceding the 25th calendar day.

thanks for the reply, I sold it today at 38.13.

crude is very volatile, in the morning I sit there several minutes, it dip to 34 under, that scared me, but I kept my GTC limit order at 38.13, then shut down my computer, turn it on in the noon, my order is executed.

I thought today's move is short squeeze, must be lots of short sale there.

I noticed gas price is keep going up.
