When will Ben rescue us?

Yeah, the fed could care less about inflation. Just got back from the supermarket.

Minute Maid Orange Juice $7.69/gallon
Milk $4.69/gallon
Dreyers ice cream $4.99/gallon

Inflation my left nut.

What, do you think the Government is lying to you?

If you've been stupid enough to have been long then you missed getting in on the bear market move that was clear as day since housing began to crumble. Now you are crying for help. Learn to trade and invest smarter.

Housing slump/credit crunch/subprime mess/oil$100/economy teetering on recession>>>>Go Short.

For me, Still Short Housing Stocks and Financials.
Since 4/07-1/08...this has been one of my best Periods of returns.

Sure they matter. a fed fund rates at 2.5% would stimulate all areas of the economy, that too is a function of time. It doesn't happen overnight. Rate cuts take 6 months to start to kick in. Let's see, they started in Aug.. There has never been a period in history where an easing fed has not led to clear expansion some 12-18 months later.

this might end up being a situation similar to japan where the rate can go to 0.

can't bubble out of a bubble without the burst being pretty big. not to mention there are a lot of similarities between now and the depression. heck a law that was taken out in 99 that was put in after the depression regarding banks has helped in the banking blow up we are currently seeing.

Dreyers ice cream??? Highly anecdotical!!! Don't forget to add your healthcare inflation too.
