When Trump is out will the GOP become sane again?

So, sane is allowing all the RINO extreme liberals in the Never Trump camp to re-emerge again and with extreme liberal Democrats and let them destroy all that President Donald Trump has accomplished so far? Hopefully, US voters will see that electing the likes of Mike Pence or Ted Cruz is what is needed. Extreme liberals can go pound sand. You have done enough damage to the US. If you hate the US so much, nobody is stopping you. The door is always open. Perhaps, France, Germany, Canada or even Cuba is to your liking. Why be miserable? Life is short. Go for it.

I don’t see the progressive wing completely representing a major political party anytime soon. Most of the people I talk to who are voting for Biden are to the right of him. Some voted for Kasich in the 2016 primary. Trump is just off the spectrum.
That's exactly what I mean, righties need to embrace Kasich/Biden like behavior. The progs are pissed at the dems and are only backing Biden because they're aware of the danger of keeping Trump around. If Biden refuses to expand the court, the party will have a reckoning in 2022.

You democrats literally do all the things you accuse others of doing.

A classic Goebbels propaganda doctrine.... "accuse the other side of doing what you are doing.... the booboisie will soon accept it as truth".

Progressives don’t have a coalition that could win a majority in my opinion. Yeah, they can win in the most liberal areas of the country. They have not been able to win in any swing districts.

That's why I'm saying a takeover, much like the tea party did the GOP then became redhats. It's a time thing...

The Tea Party failed to do anything. All they did was shut the government down. This is not the Tea Party. This is Trump’s party.

The progressive movement has moved the Democratic more to the left in recent years, but the Democratic Party drew some lines. Biden has the most left-wing presidential agenda for a nominee since McGovern though. He has plans to cover everybody with health insurance, drastically lower homelessness through building more housing units, and is for a $15 minimum wage. These aren’t small things.

The tea party had plenty of members elected. Their fringe is what put Trump at the altar

The Tea Party didn't have a winning coalition by itself. The Tea Party about excessive bailouts, spending, and taxes. The two candidates who represented the Tea Party best were Rand Paul and Ted Cruz. Cruz finished in 2nd, but the establishment lane was very crowded with Bush, Kasich, Christie, Rubio, etc.
