The best trades on this topic likely are long Oil / Nat Gas stocks and long Gold/Silver stocks. Today was just a preview even without direct sanctions the Russian Oil supply will be hampered in an already tight market. Gold just looks like it's ready to reestablish as the safe haven and the miners are still cheap. The other angle was short QQQ but today confirmed my suspicion that it was an unreliable trend bordering on exhaustion. Not for the faint of heart though the overnight moves can be large.
Only worked as an overnight play. I wouldn't have touched it first thing not because of hindsight analysis just because I couldn't see much more drop coming even if we didn't reverse.
1. You first said buy on the invasion.
2. Then you said you were wrong but will be right at 1:50pm
3. At 4pm you take credit for #1.

I was skeptical, however I bought the RUSL (+2X RSX) as a lottery ticket at around $7. It hit $12 today. An amazing rebound in less than 2 days.
1. I said buy the invasion, stonks will go up bigly shortly after invasion starts.
2. When invasion finally happened, stonks went up bigly shortly after invasion started.
3. I was 100% correct.
