When it comes to crime, Democrats are in danger of being mugged by reality

We have city after city where police funding has increased and so has crime which debunks your bull shit narritive as well.

Nonsense -- the increase in crime was much greater in cities that defunded the police. Your entire narrative is nonsense.

Defunding the police is about more then just money
Defunding is also about human capital, moving cops off certain beats ..... Liberal DAs who defund their responsibilities.
Defunding is also about limiting what police can do...no car or foot chase...Tracking the race of police stops to limit stopping suspicious people because of race.... no security interference from shoplifters
Defunding the bail system...no cash bail
Defunding is when eyewitness's dont talk to the police because they watch CNN and believe cops kill thousands of black men a year
The woke and media stigmatizes Police work so that communities donr trust police
I think funding might be last on this list to cause crime.

Most cities have not been defunded or even reduced funds but crime is up nationwide so they have come up with bull shit like this to continue thier bull shit narritive.

Murders are spiking. Police should be part of the solution.

In a recent survey of criminal justice experts, a majority said increasing police budgets would improve public safety. The evidence is especially strong for strategies that home in on very specific problems, individuals, or groups that are causing a lot of crime or violence — approaches that would require restructuring how many police departments work today.

That runs contrary to the push to “defund the police” in progressive circles, which tend to focus on cutting policing to boost alternatives. In the same survey of experts, most said that increasing social service budgets would improve public safety. But experts also say there’s no reason, if the goal is to fight crime, that communities shouldn’t expand both policing and social services — what University of Missouri St. Louis criminologist Richard Rosenfeld calls a “both-and” approach.

The funny part of "alternative policing" is that the intent of the defund promoters is to send unarmed social workers on calls for "domestic disturbances". The reality is that these are some of the most dangerous calls. It only took two months in Durham for the "social workers" in the new "public safety office" to demand that an armed police officer be sent with them on every call. Now we are wasting money by sending two people on these calls -- and costing additional time because both must be present before they go attempt to address the domestic situation.

But none of this should be surprise -- in previous decades they attempted to send social workers as an alternative to police in some cities -- and ran into the same exact issue.

US Police need to stop murdering more citizens than any other advanced nation.

Most cities have increased police budgets.Maybe that article should mention that.

Because to your kind being black or brown is suspicious
You spin everything into most sinister intentions..
You must be aware of the effort to reduce police stops in crime areas
The BLM types are more concerned abut the raw numbers of police stops then about keeping communities safe
