with whatever is making the stock trade so queasy / squishy?

I think the market will crack on whatever / whenever the announcemnet is.

It's trading like they wanna sandbag the market with an announcement of some sort.
 
Probably when Paulson gets replaced by a nonGSer and they are forced to come clean for additional government funding.
 
GS = Biggest Fade of 2008. It's a bank stock now, and should price as such. Thinck BAC, or JPM. GS's price is too rich now that it's been "reined in". You're right, it has been trading like a busted ass stock, because it is. Fast Money's 2008 "Stock of The Year", folks. Down 100 clams since then.
