When Grandpa has a Baby Bladder

Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), like our ears and noses, our prostate grows as we age and presses on the bladder.

I figured ET would be a good place to ask this question, given the amount of older guys on this site. Respectfully,

Any herbal or home remedies for an older guy who can't clear the bladder well? Its killing me. Im waking up 5 times a night to piss a thimble. The prescriped drugs are mostly of the anti-androgen variety, which is more bs. I'm trying to stay away from big pharma drugs. Chinese Medicine? Herbal cures?

This is what you need. I take this personally. It's not going to be an instant fix so take it as directed for a few weeks and you will see a lot of improvement. Report back after you're tried it and let me know how it works for you.

Other replies are on point ... I'll point out another consideration. Sleep Apnea?? One of my first symptoms was constant waking feeling the need to urinate. Doctor explained it's a brain thing and fairly common in sleep apnea patients. Jostle yourself awake seemingly no reason and brain and body create the urination need. Just a thought.

Thank you Baron. Always a good man.

Would you be kind enough to provide the product name? For some reason, the amazon.com link doesn't show. I tried to post an Amazon link earlier, but had the same result (blank link). Im using Chrome as my browser. Will try in Firefox. Just a moment. Note: No joy in Firefox either..... hmm.

My apologies. Using adblock extension which blocked the Amazon links. Willl take a look now !!

Thanks for the reminder for me to buy some horsetail root: it has silica in abundance and that keeps the bladder wall flexible.

Thanks Baron. Unfortunately for me, I don't respond well to 5AR inhibitors. Saw Palmetto and Beta Sitosterol are big 5AR inhibitors. A previous pharma drug of the same MOA did me in, so must stay away from stuff of the same variety. The other ingredients are worth investigating tho.

Seems my condition has improved on its own, as of late. Im on TRT, bridging to a new dose. Estrogen fluctuations appear to cause major urinary retention for me. So as time goes on, when Test Depot is dosed consistently, my body adapts to the new E levels and symptoms improve. To the washroom only a few times a night now and going much better.
