When do we tank ?

You seem fairly new to trading.

Ever heard of V bottoms? Try SPX 666.

A V bottom is a hard clean bounce off the bottom? SPX666 never heard of..

Very interesting where this opens tonight...i guess gap down below fri's close follwed by hasty close

Risky as well, considering AAPL reports Monday.

Good point...wonder if the market over all will use positive report as an excuse to power up.

Not pairs trading but am long ES right now ...looking for a bit of a bounce this week sometime...

AAPL has such weight in Nasdaq 100 any meaningful change and NQ goes wild, so carefuly with NQ past Monday close, ES, not so much.

The selloff was sparked by a confluence of both domestic and global fundamental conditions that caused market participants to disregard multiple key support levels very quickly. It's hard to imagine an individual company's (AAPL) earnings report would get everyone excited again, especially with Friday's close leaving price hanging in the middle of nowhere.

Apple is 12.3% of Nasdaq 100 aka NQ/QQQ, if apple flies or tanks, the Nasdaq 100 gets depressed or excited, no question about it.
