When discuss "Trading" on this forum, mean day trading?

Just curious, when you guys discuss various topics of trading in this section, do you mean day trading only?

I been trading for 5+ years now but on monthly timeframe and got into options this year, again trading on monthly. Is there a specifc name for these type of traders?

Also in most big investment banks, when they say traders do they mean day traders?

Just one view:

day trader --- doesn't hold thru eod
swing trader --- usually a few days
position trader --- longer up to your sort of timeframes


and many variations on the theme (scalpers, daily swing etc etc).

Vs investor who doesn't have an exit plan on entry.
