When did you become proud to call yourself a trader? When you became profitable or before that?

Steven Pressfield says he often gets asked by new writers when they should refer themselves as writers and his answer is "when you say you're".

Never have.

When people ask me "what do I do"? I tell them I'm and idler.

I tell them I trade commodity futures. When they look at me cross-eyed, I then just chuckle and go, "No, kidding, I collect spores, mold and fungus."

They identify more with a 34-YO comedy film than anything remotely related to finance.
