What's your average drawdown?

This is a question directed at professional traders.

What's your average % drawdown and how much time did it take to recover peak equity?

I tend to take big positions, but I learned to never go on margin because I tend blow up owing to not having discipline to have correct position sizing. I'm down ~ 29% ytd. Ugh...

12% is my max draw down for the last 3 years of trading. Drawdown is something you mostly control yourself by increasing/decreasing position size vs equity size.

Edit: This is with 300% leverage, with zero leverage max dd is 4%
