It's white guilt, which is something that results from knowing all of your success came from dumb fucking luck rather than skill and ability. People who earn their money don't apologize for it.
I was only dimly aware of liberals' stunning hypocrisy when I first moved to DC and began to see it up close.
I can tell you they bitterly resent having it pointed out. Like when you point out to the big "education" advocates, the same ones who pushed for federal judges to take over southern school systems, that they themselves went to all white private schools, as do their kids.
It's not just liberals however. I'm constantly amazed at corporations hiring professional advisors, eg law firms and banks, that are run by the very liberals that support far left political candidates. The same candidates who will push socialist programs that wreck our economy.
And of course, the rich liberals who hector the rest of us to take public transit, to be green, they all drive down town here in their $100k cars. No Metro for them.
I recall being assured that diversity makes us stronger, that living in a diverse neighborhood is best for your kids, that only racists fear black crime. So why do all my rich liberal friends live in pricey all white areas of DC or Maryland?
