Fed Fines UBS $100 Million

NEW YORK - In the headlines this afternoon, the U.S. Federal Reserve says Swiss bank UBS will pay a $100 million fine to settle claims that it transferred newly printed dollar notes to countries under U.S. economic sanctions.
is the sf still backed in any way by gold?.....I havent traded fx in quite awhile, but it used to be the currency to go to in times of, and I hate to use this term, "geopolitical uncertainty".....especially against the jy.
