What's the best indicator?

Isnt' ADX and CCI similar? Not really, look up how they're generated.

CCI and ADX will work in both daytrading and swingtrading time frames. For some people some times.

Also in 5 minute candlestick, 1 minute or 30 minute or whatever minute. Some things trend better in some timeframes so this will in part determine what strategies and tools work best.

but truly, the best indicators are price and volume :)

I did look them up, they are both the same thing. They calculate the same sum. They are both trend following indicators. Look them up. You will see. Same thing.
 
ADX measures STRENGTH

CCI measures over bought / over sold levels

they are not the same, although some times they move the same direction because if a stock is over bought, the CCI will tell you to sell, and the ADX will also be up, giving a measure of 40+ (which is above average strength), time to sell.


I dont use either, I just read about them at stockcharts.com
