i've been happily using the D-Link 4300, which has 4 GigE ports, for about a year. it's been exactly what i wanted: transparent, effective, and reliable.
in the end, it will just depend on what your needs are (i.e. $$, features, etc).

I got this one because of the QoS features and VPN support. It is targeted at gamers, but clearly QoS that is desired for gamers, works out for traders also.
