I've lived in LA and NY.


It's spread out and kind of laid back like LA, has some sophistication, excellent night life, but I can't speak on what the business life is like there.

Why because you are still at school?
 
Portland is Seattle-lite. A lot of post-grunge flannel in July. Many software firms and of course Nike is located in Beaverton. SW Portland is the only happening neighborhood. Nightlife is nil.

I was there 15 years ago as part of a repretory dance company.

I guess I must've known the people who knew the right people, because I had a blast!
