Whats going to happen to Ford and GM

What is the state of these companies. Will they survive in their current state or will they have to be bailed out quickly. I know that the govt have already given them some loans to develop hybrids, but will it require more.
 
Lets think about this. With Ford employing 246000 people, GM employing 263000 people, do you really think the government will really let them fail?
 
All I know is that GM has net debt of $12 per share (total debt - cash)...there is no way in hell they will ever pay that off...AND...that doesn't include unfunded pensions,etc...

GM sucks anyways...let Toyota buy em and at least make better cars.
