They had a great Q3 and they expect Q4 to be the best quarter of the year (seasonalities).
Heard stuff like … they’re the ones that are going to rebuild Ukraine … for example.

CAT maybe a good mover\
moved headquarter to TX, a much lower tax + regulations district.
Number 1 stock in its sector, IBD data[Investors Business Daily]
DOW/DIA[ CAT Index] has strangely been better than SPY, much of the year.
NOT many stocks up YTD or above 200dma/50 dma , CAT is.
DIA, DOW going down less than SPY + QQQ today\ like most of year.
QQQ still wins race to downside\2022

Good year to date uptrend on CAT, its the most bullish on all your charts.

Saint Nick rally =real common late DEC;

Strange/ but over the years i think there is good reason why IBD founding father[WO'N ]was actually a fairly positive person\ but real negative on WSJ picking 30 stocks[DOW/DIA] + promoting them. But the WSJ,, after seeing IBD newspaper /take a lot of thier market share,, finally put a 200 dma on their WSJ candle charts........................................................
DOW/DIA almost always underperforms SPY/SSO\
except 2022 DOW/DIA/CAT may prove exception to the rule,, should know something by Christmas or 12-31-2022

Adding to the complexity, i used to raise egg layers, they never lay as many eggs in winter like spring.
DIA/DOW finally turned positive for week ; but see where it + SPY closes FRI, end of day + week.....................................................

stranger than the comment IBKR founder noted he would prefer traders not trading IBKR stock\preferred investors investors investing in IBKR. Strange IBKR calender 14+/ day lines / i use standard calender with 7 days grid lines....................................................................................................
I actually tried to by CAT last week, some limit buys get hit\ some do not get hit.

I like the name DE better than CAT, but bought CAT because it did better in 1973/1974+ this year
