Without Sarah Palin as VP candidate, John McCain would have been trashed by Barack Obama by an even larger margin! Conservatives held their nose and voted for John McCain only because they loved Sarah Palin! I did not vote for John McCain because he was just a very bad candidate! If he somehow managed to win, his bad RINO liberal policies would be blamed on Republicans and Democrats would be in power for a long, long time!

McCain laments that he should have picked Joe Lieberman - a democrat no less- as his running mate, or at least that is one of the paths he went down at one point.

Nothing spells RINO quite like having a democrat who was forced to become an independent when he lost even to the democrats- as your running mate.

Sure, McCain was a war hero. So was George McGovern, and it is okay to be against McGovern's political goals and views or for them.

Lieberman might have been a democrat, but he has been far less critical of republicans than McCain.

If the media needed to find a republican to attack other republicans, John McCain was never far away.

I supposed his buddy Lindsey Graham will be taking that role.
 
He was a globalist. Globalists are in both Democrats and Republicans, although the number is much smaller among Republicans.
