what's a tick in ninjatrader ?

a 50 tick chart of 6E, mouse wheel click under the price bar and it displays
time, ohlc and volume - always greater than 50

i read 1 tick = 1 trade, is the volume related to the number of contracts per trade/tick ?

and the bid/ask quantities on the Chart Trader (?) panel, are those executed trades ?

The volume is related to the 50 tick bar. In short:

- 50 ticks (individual trades) creates each bar
- Volume is an aggregate vale of the trade size of those 50 trades that make up the bar
